The Einbeck masks made in Einbeck
The community of Einbeck has ordered 10,000 pieces of this mouth-nose-mask with exchangeable filter with the Einbeck logo from Kayser Filtertech and sells the everyday mask with immediate effect in Eicke's House at the Tourist Information as well as in the town museum. The tradition-rich, globally operating family business Kayser from Einbeck with currently about 1100 employees here at the site has now launched a further variant after a first community mask. Here, too, the experience of the business units Kayser Automotive (Hullerser Landstrasse) and Kayser Filtertech (Baustraße) has been bundled, reports Managing Director Meinolf Lehmkul. The result is a mouth-nose mask with exchangeable filter after only three weeks of development work. It consists of a robust, ergonomically shaped plastic carrier with elastic ear loops and two exchangeable filters made of food-safe needle felt. The inlay can be easily replaced. It can be washed separately from the plastic carrier at 60 degrees and can therefore be used several times. While one filter is in the wash, for example, the other can be use.
Mayor Dr. Sabine Michalek is glad to be able to use the know-how of a company from Einbeck. Kayser is pleased to be able to offer a regional, sustainable and climate-friendly complete solution from a single source and now supplies the two mask variants to various customers, companies as well as municipalities. On request, the mouth-nose mask with exchangeable filter can be ordered in larger quantities and also individually labelled.
The set of the everyday mask with two exchangeable filters is sold by the town of Einbeck for 3.50 euros. If you want to, you can donate the change, for example. The mayor announced that the proceeds will go into a Corona cultural fund.
